Hitman is a stealth video game that is available on Microsoft Windows as well as many other gaming consoles. Developed by IO Interactive, which is a Danish video game developer based in Copenhagen, the Hitman franchise has been able to make a name for itself over the years. When it was first released, it did really well. A movie was made in 2007 whose storyline was loosely inspired by the game, although it did well financially, but people were disappointed with the film. The game revolves around Agent 47, who is a cloned assassin. He has successfully assassinated numerous high-profile criminals all over the world. So, it’s no surprise that he is always demanded by the powerful and wealthy because of his flawless record.
Just recently, IO interactive made it official that they will release Hitman 3 in January 2021. The company promised a next-gen upgrade for the upcoming stealth action game. They have also decided to give a free next-gen upgrade for the console players who will buy the digital copy of Hitman 3. But to avail the free offer, one needs to pre-order the game; otherwise, the free console update won’t be provided with the digital copy. The Copenhagen-based game developers announced the release and the offer’s details on their website this week.
The pre-orders will also come with The Trinity Pack, which will have bonus content for the players such as briefcases, suits, and most importantly, weapons!!! The game will come with two different versions, namely – standard and deluxe. The standard version of the game will have the base game along with The Trinity Pack. In contrast, the Deluxe edition will include a digital art book, digital soundtrack, deluxe suits, and other items along with the deluxe escalation contracts. The Deluxe edition will offer all the mentioned offers along with everything that is in the standard edition.
But it remains unclear whether the physical form of the game will be available for PS5 and Xbox Series X or not. The company might likely opt to make it all a digital affair. That would also make the decision to only support digital free upgrades seem much more logical now. But this decision will make the pre-order seem entirely redundant. The game is going to have multiple modes that were quite recently made official. The World Assassination Trilogy is all set to end now. The recent news of a possible Hitman 3 release next year has got its fans excited. It has been quite successful in its long-run so far, and it seems that the game will be just as popular after the release of Hitman 3 as well.
